deafeningly loud

After missing much of the Aladdin set, we were extremely disappointed. Even with our ears stuffed, the noise continues, and we were deaf after the first acts. The sound man must have been totally deaf with the volume so high, and we were near the back, but I was looking forward to a real guitar virtuoso. This was doubly annoying given the great acoustics at the venue. What is the point when you are listening to the last part outside the venue? Much louder than GaGa or Rhiana's "Loud" tour, we have seen many acts there and other places and never had to leave due to the sound level before.
